It is being speculated that the first iPhone of 2020 will be the successor of the iPhone SE which was released in 2016. The speculated name of the iPhone is not yet confirmed.
So based on rumors, we are going to call it iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9. It is most likely to be named iPhone 9 because it is the only number missing in the iPhone Series so far.

March 31, 2020, was the expected launch date of the next iPhone but amid the coronavirus, things can change.
